ABOUT JULIE…

Julie Scira PT, MPT

Julie attended Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, CA and received her BS in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Health Sciences in 1997 and her master’s in physical therapy in 1999. Since then, she has focused on patient care in the outpatient orthopedic setting working with patients after surgery, musculoskeletal aches and pains, pelvic floor/pelvic health and incontinence issues, balance and vestibular dysfunction, helping them reach their goals. She enjoys combining her manual therapy skills with effective exercise and patient education to maximize patient success with their rehab programs. She became board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2010 and is the owner of Redhawk Physical Therapy, established January 2020.

Julie moved to Temecula with her family in 2009 from L.A. and has been a proud resident since. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for (a long time now, lol) with two wonderful teenagers. When she has free time, she enjoys playing piano and guitar, watching movies, engaging with her feathered and furry kids, watching her children golf and ride horses, and occasionally dragging the family on hikes.

 

About Lisa…

Lisa DeMattia, PT, DPT, OCS

Lisa graduated from the University of Puget Sound with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2008 and began her career in outpatient orthopedics in the PNW before moving to Southern California to continue her career. She has been practicing for 14 years and became a board-certified orthopedic specialist in 2013. Lisa enjoys helping people regain their quality of life through a variety of treatments including manual therapy, postural training, strength and endurance training as well as helping reduce/eliminate pain, and prevention of future injury. Lisa has lived in the Temecula/Murrieta area since 2013 and loves the ability to be outdoors year round. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids, extended family, and friends, as well as hiking, going to the beach, and cheering her children on in their various activities.

 

ABOUT SUSAN

Susan Sharko PT, DPT

Susan received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2018 with advanced coursework in manual therapy techniques for the cervical and lumbar spine. She is certified in Fascial Movement Taping (FMT) Basic, Performance and Blading. Additionally, she has completed specialized training in the Mulligan approach to manual therapy with movement, Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor courses, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and Functional Movement System Level 1 and 2 (FMS)

She has a Master’s degree in International Relations and is fluent in Russian. Susan actively led and taught Group Exercise classes for eight years including Pilates, yoga and cycle. She enjoys treating different types of patients with a focus on improving how they move and helping them get back to doing what they love.

She moved to Temecula 3.5 years ago with her husband and now 4 year old daughter. In her Free time she enjoys competitive Stand Up Paddle Boarding, exercising, meditating and spending free time with family.
